Lost in translation? Key concepts in Norwegian law that English inhouse lawyers need to know.

 

Join us for an insightful breakfast seminar exploring Norwegian law concepts most likely to catch English lawyers off guard. This seminar is aimed at English inhouse lawyers that work for Norwegian companies, or companies with operations in Norway.


Speakers:


Lars Berge Andersen, Partner SANDS 

Lars Berge Andersen is a highly experienced advisor related to national and international energy, oil, offshore and shipping activities, as well as international trade and industry in general. He is ranked as Norway’s leading lawyer within offshore and oil service, as well as Norway’s best international lawyer (Norwegian Financial Daily’s Annual Lawyer Survey 2021).

Lars has extensive international experience, in particular from China and London, where he has lived and worked as a lawyer for several years. But also from negotiations and offshore project work in Asia, the Middle-East, USA and Brazil. He was previously General Counsel and CAO in different companies within the Aker-group. Furthermore, he has more than 15 years of experience from assisting investments and operational issues for foreign investments in China and Chinese investments into Norway.



Jonathan Kjerschow, Partner SANDS

Jonathan Kjerschow primarily focuses on acquisitions, mergers/demergers, equity investments, reorganizations, and business collaborations, as well as general corporate law. He advises Norwegian and international clients, including private equity, venture- and infrastructure funds, as well as industrial players.
